Süleyman Kaya - İbrahim Aktürk / Istanbul, Oct 22 () - In Istanbul University’s campus based in Beyazıt, a group of around 50 female students protested the alleged mental abuse and harassment of a security guard against two girls one month ago.

Students slammed the decision of the court to release the suspect E.B., although he was sent to court to be arrested.

The protesters claimed the suspect was still working at the campus where the harassment occurred, and accused the university administration for being responsible.

Banner of young protesters read “We expose. In this university, private seucirty abuses women” while the group chanted, “We do not want harrassers in the security” and “End abuse against students”.

Following the press statement, the group sticked pictures of the suspect on the walls of the campus.
