Ersan Erdoğan / Manisa, Aug 19 () - Three projects created by the European Youth Association in Manisa have become entitled to receive financial aid from the European Union (EU), within the “Erasmus+ Programme”.

The projects stand out with social issues they raise about Turkey and the world, including gender, power, environment, and disability codes.

While the “Between the Vineyards” project promoting the viniculture in the country sparked a jury of NGO members in Italy, Spain and Greece, another project called “European Network of Undisability” offered disabled young people to receive innovative disability education in Italy in September .

Another Erasmus+ project entitles “Gender and Power” comes to the forefront with its topic promoting youth in Turkey to reconsider the place of women and codes of gender, and make an accent to this social issue, as violence against women marked the Turkish agenda since the beginning of 2015.

Within the education activities of the protect, group works, peer trainings, role playing and media education seminar will be held.

“The projects aim at contributing to the interdiaologues between culture and promote an air of tolerance” told the President of the youth association in Manisa.
