Yaşar Anter / Muğla, Aug 27 () – In Bodrum district of Muğla, residents and tourists gathered within “Peace Against War” events in Gümüşlük beach and sang songs to promote the language of peace amid terror attacks.

The event organized by the Gümüşlük Forum [following the district forum tradition dating back to Gezi Protests] on August 25 hosted poem perfonmance of author Yaşar Aslan, soloist Pembe Coşkun, Tolon Teker with his acordeon, Sinan İşvaroğlu and Cengiz Sarıkaya on guitar, and Beyhan Bağdatlı on music instrument saz.

Around 200 people including foreign visitors watched the event where poems were performed song were sang to protest war.

The organizators of the event announced the “voice of peace should drown the voice of war” and called on all peple protesting war to speak up for peace through music.

The event will be held in Bodrum’s other neighberhoods in near future.
