Malatya, July 23 () – The 12th International Arguvan Folk Song Festival was cancelled in the Central Anatolian province of Malatya, announced Mayor of Arguvan, Mehmet Kızıldaş.

Mayor Kızıldaş marked that the festival that was announced to be held on July 25-26 was cancelled after the Suruç massacre in Şanlıurfa on July 20, striking Turkey.

Having condemned the massacre, Mehmet Kızıldaş added, “A playground was planned to be built in a building used as nursery in Kobane. Our grief is immortal, but our fight will continue.”
