Istanbul, July 21 () – The TÜSİAD (Turkish Industrialists' and Businessmen's Association) defined the Suruç attack as “a serious attack that has targeted the democracy and societal peace”, having urged, “let’s protect the values of human rights, democracy and secularism”.
“We condemn the terror attack in Suruç vigorously, and condole Turkey and families of people who have lost their lives in this barbarous attack, also people who had fallen martyr in the clashes in Adıyaman on the same day” said the TÜSİAD in a statement.
TÜSİAD stated in the statement that the primary need is to guarantee the rights to live and the security of Turkey's citizens and to protect the citizens from the influences of the worsening regional circumstances.
“In result of this terrifying attack, we see altogether that it is necessary to treat the problems waiting for a solution in domestic and foreign policies that cannot be considered apart, with a common political sense, immediately” urged TÜSİAD.
“We wish that the bomb attack in Suruç will be the last circle of these tragic events that we had witnessed as a whole nation. We are awaiting for the security forces’ to reveal the offenders within the shortest time” TÜSİAD added.
